Every day pet families are faced with having to forego needed veterinary care, give up or euthanize their beloved pet due to finances. Research shows that one in four pet families have been unable to access veterinary care in the past two years. And, 45 million Americans are credit invisible and unable to obtain the credit that most practices offer when finances are a challenge.
Here’s where we come in. We’ve used our experience opening veterinary clinics that have an incremental care approach, business efficiencies, staff training and a suite of the latest payment options that expand accessible veterinary care and are financially sustainable. We’ve also developed partnerships with for-profit and non-profits to overcome barriers in the communities we serve.
Open Door Veterinary Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that advances access to care business models and practices to meet its guiding principles.
All donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Contact us to discuss legacy giving through wills and estates.

Thanks to our donors, we provide discounted mentorships and support to programs across the country who are ensuring that people aren’t forced into difficult decisions on veterinary care when finances are a concern. With your continued support, we can expand affordable veterinary care in a sustainable way that supports our veterinary community, engages human service agencies and animal welfare organizations and, most importantly, serves pets and their people across the country.
