AAVMC’s new Spectrum of Care Guide “Enhancing Spectrum of Care Preparation in Veterinary Education Programs: An Implementation Strategies Guide

Posted on

Open Door Veterinary Collective is thrilled to be a part of the AAVMC’s new Spectrum of Care Guide “Enhancing Spectrum of Care Preparation in Veterinary Education Programs: An Implementation Strategies Guide” on the AAVMC website.

The Guide was developed by approximately 40 veterinary educators from 25 AAVMC member institutions across five countries, alongside over 25 practitioners and professionals from veterinary organizations.  The ideas and expertise will help prepare students for spectrum of care practice.

Our Glossary of Terms is integrated into this incredible resource for veterinary schools, our online courses bundled for veterinary students are part of their published SOC Learning Experiences, and the course content is completely integrated with the new Spectrum of Care CBVEs.

If your institution is interested in joining the growing number of universities leading the way in training students to deliver care that reaches more families and supports long-term sustainability, we’d love to hear from you!
