Is a new campaign - facilitated by Open Door Veterinary Collective #Thanks To Maddie - advocating a simple but powerful shift: adding three quick questions about pets into client intakes. By asking about pets proactively, social workers can recognize human-animal relationships as sources of strength, reduce barriers to care, and advance truly pet-inclusive services — services that are truly client-centered and “start where the client is at”.
